About Us

Built to address the shortage of diverse and women-led businesses operating at scale in the U.S., Lafayette Square Foundation (“LSF” or the “Foundation”) strives to support historically underrepresented entrepreneurs across a range of industries. We will take a partnership-centric approach to develop and provide access to educational resources, training programs, and capital solutions that reduce barriers to taking entrepreneurial risk, thereby driving a sustained positive impact to communities and a path to a more inclusive economy.

The power to make change starts with capital.

The Foundation will equip these entrepreneurs with the tools they need to access capital and make impact. Through the democratization of knowledge and honest, unapologetic support, we hope to empower women and people of color to build sustainable, scaled businesses across industries.

LS Foundation provides resources and advice to help women and people of color build companies. An inclusive economy starts with business owners who look like their communities and are empowered to create wealth and opportunity. Starting with the next generation of high-performing investors, our goal is to enable traditionally underrepresented entrepreneurs across a range of industries.
